What's your work worth?
My wife pointed me to this HBR's article by Dorie Clark about giving a correct impression of the work you do. Sometimes—Clark explains—we may be underestimated by people we come into contact with for the first time. The article gives good advice on how do make a strong impression on someone you're meeting for the first time.
Then, I found this phrase by Marshall Goldsmith, which perfectly complements Clark's article:
There will always be someone who won't see your worth.
Don't let it be you.
