Think different
Life presents us with frequent opportunities to learn from others. To notice them, we need to be willing to learn.
Try to learn from people who hold different oppinions than yours. Think of someone whose ideas or worldview are opposed to yours, or that you even despise. Think why they could be right. Ask them to explain them to you if you can.
You will get you a deeper understanding of your own thinking and, sometimes, you'll change your mind.
Derek Sivers writes: "My favorite moments in life are when someone shows me a new perspective — a way of thinking I had never considered. It’s illuminating. (...) Thinking that people are stupid is not thinking. Understanding them is."
