Information diet

Don't be passive about what reaches your brain. Passively consuming information means someone else is curating your information diet. (Someone else, or someone else's algorithm...)

Some questions you can ask yourself: Is this piece of information going to be relevant in some months? In a year? In five years? Most of the time you can know just from reading the title. If it's not going to be relevant, then don't read it. You are wasting your time. You are feeding your mind with whatever happens to be popular today, or worse, with other people's disinformation or manipulation campaigns.

Taking action to curate your information diet faces you with a scary question. What is it for? Why are you spending time reading these particular articles, or reading these books? What things should you be reading about? What questions are you trying to answer?
