ChatGPT and Quotations

As impressive as ChatGPT output is, it strikes me that it doesn't quote the sources used to build its output. When I write, it's important for me to know the source of facts, quotes, etc. Many times, proper attribution should be given. Maybe it's just a feature that can be turned on or off?
