Book review: Fall in Love with the Problem, Not the Solution by Uri Levine

Rating: 4/5

I read this book because after reading all the classics (The Lean Startup, etc.) I wanted a fresh perspective from a hands-on practitioner on venture-funded startups.

This book is written by Waze’s founder, Uri Levine. Levine gives detailed and down-to-earth examples from his experience at Waze and Moovit. There are several good books about the topic in the market. However, many of them seem to generalize from a particular case (n=1), or are too theoretical for my taste.

Your interest in different parts of the book may vary, as it covers from product-market fit to exit, stages which can be ten years or more apart. A solid book, which you should definitely read in you’re interested in startups and entrepreneurship.
