How will you get back up after you’ve lost your step?
We all lose our step eventually. We fall back into a bad habit. We break our routines. We go for the easy thing instead of our long-term goal. We lose our temper. What’s important is to get back up. Ryan’s Holiday notes that “it’s wonderfully fitting that in both the Zen tradition and the Bible we have a version of the proverb about falling down seven times and getting up eight1.”
Don’t get discouraged by your failures. Get up and try again.
