Things We Don’t Notice

After finishing reading the 9 volumes of The Expanse novels by James A. Corey, today I started book #6 of Cormoran Strike’s series, The Ink Black Heart by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling).

I was greeted by this quote:

Two kinds of darkness are there. One is Night… And one is Blindness.

Made me think of things we don’t notice because of our lack of curiosity, or interest. We can’t be aware of everything, of course. But I’m referring to things we should be noticing but we are not.
