Optimize wisely

Shane Parrish writes that to achieve great results it’s the small details that matter. “One more revision. One more edit. One more look. One more walk-through. One more rep. One more hour. One more day. (…) It’s the tiny details that take something from good to great. While they are often not seen, they are almost always felt.”

But there are trade-offs. Just as any project benefits from clear boundaries, we cannot focus on everything with the same intensity or level of detail in life. Define what you want. Accept the limitations of time and energy. Embrace consistency and optimize wisely.
